Filament Spectrum PET‑G Premium 1.75 mm White 2 kg – Spectrum
Spectrum PET‑G Premium 1.75 mm White 2 kg is a PETG 3D printing filament formulated from polyethylene terephthalate glycol for durable, dimensionally stable additive manufacturing. Supplied on a neat transparent spool and vacuum‑packed with a desiccant, the filament is available in Arctic White and designed for FDM/FFF desktop printers that require good layer adhesion, low shrinkage and resistance to chemicals and moderately elevated temperatures. The 2 kg spool supports printing of functional prototypes, mechanical parts and consumer goods where impact resistance and long‑term stability are important.
Spectrum PET‑G Premium combines low warp and nearly zero shrinkage with low moisture absorption compared to many thermoplastics used in 3D printing, resulting in stable dimensional accuracy. The material offers strong interlayer adhesion that reduces mechanical anisotropy, good creep resistance under constant load, and high rigidity and impact resistance. Transparent formulations provide a near‑transparent effect with a small number of outer perimeters, and the pellets and pigments used in production are approved for food contact. Printing is generally odour‑free and straightforward, making the filament suitable for both visual and functional parts.
Install the 1.75 mm Spectrum PET‑G Premium filament spool on the printer spool holder and feed the filament into the extruder according to your printer manufacturer’s instructions. Use a nozzle temperature and bed temperature within the recommended range for PETG on your printer profile; ensure the build surface is clean and, if required, use a compatible adhesion aid such as a PEI sheet, glass with glue stick, or painter’s tape to prevent part detachment. Printing with moderate cooling and appropriate retraction settings reduces stringing while preserving layer adhesion. After printing, allow parts to cool before removal to maintain dimensional accuracy.
Store the filament in its original vacuum packaging with the desiccant until ready to use. For best results, keep filament dry and print within the manufacturer’s recommended temperature ranges. For functional parts exposed to chemicals or water, verify compatibility with the specific chemicals and perform fit and load tests before final use.
