3D printing material Spectrum 5903175657602
Spectrum 5903175657602 is a 1.75 mm black 3D printing filament formulated from a blend of ABS and PETG. Supplied in a 1.4 kg spool and packaged in a protective box with vacuum sealing and a desiccant, this filament is designed for consistent feeding and storage. The PETG component delivers low shrinkage, reduced moisture absorption and high dimensional accuracy, while the ABS component contributes toughness and impact resistance. The product is compatible with printers from any brand and is suited for both prototyping and end-use parts where durability and good layer adhesion are required.
The combination of ABS and PETG in this Spectrum filament provides a balance of rigidity, hardness and impact resistance together with virtually zero shrinkage and improved chemical resistance. Items printed from this material show excellent interlayer cohesion, low warping during printing and the option to achieve near-transparency with appropriate print parameters. Filament is odour-free in typical printing conditions, offers good creep resistance under constant load and is based on a food-grade base polymer. The spool is vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber and clearly labelled for diameter and recommended printing temperature.
Install the spool on the printer’s filament holder so that it feeds smoothly without excessive tension. Load the 1.75 mm filament into the extruder following the printer manufacturer’s instructions. Use recommended print temperatures appropriate for ABS/PETG blends (consult the spool label for guidance) and ensure the build surface is prepared to promote adhesion. Adjust print settings such as print speed, retraction and cooling to optimise layer bonding and surface finish; lower cooling and moderate speeds typically improve interlayer cohesion for PETG-containing blends. Store unused filament in its original vacuum packaging with the included desiccant to minimise moisture uptake.
For best results, print with a heated bed and use a suitable adhesion aid or textured surface to prevent warping. When aiming for semi-transparent prints, reduce the number of outer perimeters and use larger layer heights while maintaining controlled extrusion to enhance the near-transparency effect. Allow printed parts to cool slowly to reduce residual stress; keep filament sealed when not in use.
