3D printing filament Spectrum PLA 1.75 mm Black 1.4 kg
Spectrum PLA 1.75 mm Black 1.4 kg is a polylactic acid (PLA) 3D printing filament designed for general-purpose FDM/FFF printing. The filament has a nominal diameter of 1.75 mm and comes as a single 1.4 kg net-weight spool vacuum-sealed with a moisture absorber and placed in original Spectrum packaging. Premium-grade PLA formulation offers full biodegradability, low processing shrinkage and intense, stable black coloration. Spools are measured during production with certified laser meters and labelled with a unique spool ID and QR code so diameter statistics and production data can be checked online.
Spectrum Premium PLA combines aesthetic surface quality and reliable mechanical performance: high hardness and good tensile resistance produce detailed parts with strong layer cohesion and minimal warping. The filament features consistent diameter control for steady extrusion, a relatively low melting point for easy printing, and excellent bed adhesion across common build surfaces. Vacuum packing with a desiccant preserves filament quality during storage and transport.
Install the Spectrum PLA spool on a 3D printer that accepts 1.75 mm PLA filament. Load filament into the extruder according to your printer manufacturer’s instructions. Recommended starting settings are a nozzle temperature typical for PLA (consult the spool label for the suggested temperature range), print with moderate cooling, and use a build surface or adhesion aid suitable for PLA printing. Remove the vacuum seal and allow the spool to equilibrate to ambient humidity for a short time if needed before loading. Use standard printing speeds and layer heights appropriate for the nozzle diameter and desired resolution.
Store the filament sealed with the desiccant when not in use to maintain printing performance. For best dimensional accuracy and surface finish, calibrate extrusion multiplier and bed leveling before printing final parts. When printing large items, ensure adequate bed adhesion and consider using a brim or raft. Check the spool QR code to view production diameter statistics if tight dimensional tolerances are required.
