Filament Spectrum PLA Matt 1.75 mm White 1 kg — Polylactic acid (PLA)
Spectrum PLA Matt 1.75 mm White 1 kg is a matte polylactic acid (PLA) filament designed for FDM 3D printers, supplied on a 1 kg spool in Polar White. With a nominal diameter of 1.75 mm and consistent dimensional tolerance, the filament ensures reliable feeding and repeatable dimensional accuracy for prototyping, visual models and consumer-grade prints where a non-reflective white finish is required. The modified PLA formulation produces a uniform matte surface that reduces the visual prominence of layer lines while retaining the ease of printing and low shrinkage typical of PLA materials.
The modified composition of Spectrum PLA Matt yields a high-quality matte side surface with minimized layer visibility while maintaining good adhesion between layers and to the build platform. Compared with standard PLA, this filament provides higher temperature resistance (VICAT ≈ 85°C), improved impact resistance, reduced brittleness and increased rigidity. It is made from biodegradable raw materials and includes UV stabilization to enhance the appearance of printed parts. The filament is supplied vacuum-packed with a desiccant and labeled spool packaging for immediate use and reliable storage.
Load the 1.75 mm Spectrum PLA Matt filament into an FDM 3D printer following the printer manufacturer's instructions. Recommended print temperatures typically fall in a common PLA range; begin with the manufacturer's suggested temperature for this filament and adjust in small increments if needed to optimize extrusion and surface quality. Use a heated bed if your printer supports it to improve first-layer adhesion, and ensure the build platform is clean. Because of the matte formulation, tuning retraction and print cooling may further reduce visible artifacts and enhance the uniformity of the matte finish.
Store the filament vacuum-sealed with the included desiccant when not in use to prevent moisture uptake. For best aesthetic results, prefer moderate print speeds and adequate cooling to preserve the matte surface; test small calibration prints to determine the ideal temperature, retraction and cooling settings for your specific printer and part geometry.
