Filament Spectrum PLA orange RAL 2000, single-color 1.75 mm spool
Spectrum PLA filament in orange (RAL 2000) is a 1.75 mm single-color spool formulated for FDM 3D printing. Made from standard polylactic acid, this thermoplastic is intended for general-purpose prints, prototyping and decorative parts. The filament is compatible with common desktop printers and slicers and offers straightforward feeding and predictable layer adhesion for hobby and light professional workflows.
The filament provides consistent diameter and reliable extrusion behavior that supports dimensional stability and repeatable results. Its PLA composition allows printing at moderate temperatures with minimal warping and reduced need for heated build plates. The vivid orange (RAL 2000) color delivers uniform surface finish suitable for visual models and decoration without additional painting.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into the printer following the manufacturer’s filament loading procedure. Set the nozzle temperature according to common PLA ranges (typically 190–220 °C) and select layer height and print speed suitable for the model complexity and printer capability. Use a heated bed if available (40–60 °C) to improve first-layer adhesion, or apply adhesion aid such as glue stick or blue painter’s tape on unheated beds. Allow printed parts to cool gradually to reduce any minor deformation.
Store the spool in a dry environment and keep it sealed with desiccant when not in use to maintain print quality. For best visual results, calibrate extrusion multiplier and retraction settings in your slicer to minimise stringing and ensure consistent surface finish.
