Filament set Spectrum PLA Premium 1.75mm 1.25kg – 5 colors by Spectrum
Spectrum PLA Premium filament set contains five colors of 1.75 mm PLA with a total net filament weight of 1.25 kg. Designed for FDM 3D printers, this set targets general-purpose printing tasks where easy extrusion, low warp and reliable layer adhesion are important. The multiple colors are intended to simplify prototyping, model making and decorative parts production without the need to change filament brands or diameters.
The Spectrum PLA Premium set offers consistent diameter and smooth surface finish that supports predictable extrusion behaviour and dimensional stability. PLA is a low-warp, low-shrinkage material that prints at moderate temperatures and does not require a heated chamber, which reduces setup complexity. The bundle of five colors enables faster iteration for multi-colour projects and reduces downtime when swapping rolls on printers with a single extruder.
PLA is not recommended for high-temperature environments or applications that require significant mechanical strength under load or long-term outdoor exposure, as it softens at elevated temperatures and can degrade under UV. For parts that must withstand heat, chemicals or continuous mechanical stress, alternative engineering filaments should be considered.
Load the 1.75 mm PLA filament into the extruder according to your printer manufacturer’s instructions, set the nozzle and bed temperatures to values appropriate for PLA, and calibrate extrusion and bed leveling before printing. Print with standard cooling and moderate speeds for best surface quality and dimensional accuracy. When changing colors, retract and unload the previous filament, then feed the new color until color flow is stable; perform a short purge if necessary to avoid color contamination.
For consistent results use clean, dry filament and tune retraction and cooling settings for the specific printer and model. When printing intricate details, reduce layer height and enable part cooling; for larger structural pieces, increase wall count and infill for added strength.
