Filament Spectrum TF-24001 PLA 1.75 mm White 1 kg
Spectrum Filaments TF-24001 PLA 1.75 mm White 1 kg is a 1 kg spool of Traffic White polylactic acid filament designed for FDM/FFF 3D printers that accept 1.75 mm PLA. PLA provides straightforward extrusion, low warping and predictable layer adhesion, making it suitable for rapid prototyping, visual models and general household or hobby prints. The neutral white colour is appropriate for painting, finishing or when a clean, uniform surface is required.
The filament offers consistent diameter tolerance for stable flow through common hotends and predictable print behaviour across typical PLA print temperatures. Its low-warp formulation reduces bed adhesion issues and curling on small-to-medium parts. The white colour gives good opacity and a uniform base for post-processing such as sanding, priming and painting.
Load the 1.75 mm PLA filament into a compatible extruder following your printer manufacturer's filament loading procedure. Recommended printing temperatures typically range from 190–220 °C depending on the hotend and part geometry; start in the middle of that range and adjust for optimal extrusion and layer adhesion. Use a heated bed set to 40–60 °C or a suitable adhesion method for your build surface, and set cooling fan speeds according to the model—higher cooling improves detail and bridging for PLA. Store the spool in a dry place when not in use to minimise moisture uptake.
For best results, perform a temperature tower test to determine the ideal extrusion temperature for your printer and part. Use moderate print speeds and adequate part cooling to achieve a smooth surface. If painting, sand and prime the printed surface before applying paints or finishes.
