Spectrum Filaments TF-24011 is a polylactic acid (PLA) 3D printing filament in Sorbet Yellow supplied on a 1 kg spool. The filament has a 1.75 mm nominal diameter and is intended for standard FDM/FFF desktop printers. It is formulated for general-purpose printing of prototypes, models and decorative parts where PLA’s ease of use, low warping and dimensional stability are required.
This PLA filament offers consistent diameter and layer-to-layer adhesion suitable for a wide range of printing tasks. Its Sorbet Yellow colour provides good visual contrast for models and decorative items without special post-processing. The material is biodegradable under industrial composting conditions and prints at typical PLA temperatures, enabling predictable results on printers calibrated for standard PLA filaments.
Use this Spectrum PLA filament on printers configured for 1.75 mm filament. Load the spool onto the printer’s filament holder, feed the filament through the extruder and set printing parameters appropriate for PLA: typical nozzle temperatures between 190–220 °C and print bed temperature from ambient up to 60 °C if required for adhesion. Calibrate extrusion multiplier and retraction settings to minimise stringing and achieve clean surface finish. Allow printed parts to cool gradually for improved dimensional stability.
Store the filament in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Use desiccant in sealed containers for long-term storage. For best results, perform a small calibration print when switching spools to confirm temperature and extrusion settings.
