3D printer filament Spectrum TIFSCF158 PETG 1.75 mm Snow White 1 kg
Spectrum TIFSCF158 PETG 1.75 mm Snow White is a 1 kg spool of PETG filament designed for fused filament fabrication 3D printers. The Snow White color provides a neutral, opaque finish suitable for visible parts, while the PETG material combines the rigidity of PLA with enhanced impact resistance and better thermal and chemical resistance than standard PLA. The filament is supplied in a consistent 1.75 mm diameter and is formulated to offer reliable extrusion, good layer adhesion and minimal warping for a wide range of printing tasks.
The filament offers a balance of strength and flexibility, making printed parts less brittle compared with PLA while remaining easier to print than many engineering plastics. PETG's good layer bonding reduces the risk of delamination and improves part durability. The Snow White pigment provides uniform coverage and a clean surface for post-processing such as sanding, painting or gluing. Consistent diameter and quality control help maintain steady extrusion and dimensional accuracy across prints.
Load the filament onto a compatible 3D printer configured for 1.75 mm filament. Set the hotend temperature within the 230–250 °C range and adjust bed temperature and adhesion settings according to your printer and build surface; a heated bed and suitable adhesive surface improve first-layer adhesion. Calibrate extrusion multiplier and retraction settings to reduce stringing and achieve accurate dimensional results. Print at moderate speeds and perform test prints to fine-tune settings for your specific machine and model geometry.
Store the filament in a dry environment, preferably sealed with desiccant to prevent moisture absorption that can affect print quality. For best results, dry the spool if it has absorbed moisture before printing. Use recommended temperatures and adjust retraction and cooling to balance surface quality and layer adhesion.
