Spirit level STABILA 80 AS, 120 cm reinforced aluminium frame, 3 vials
Reinforced STABILA 80 AS spirit level, 120 cm length, designed for accurate horizontal, vertical and 45° measurements. The rigid aluminium profile provides dimensional stability and resistance to bending on site while shock‑resistant end caps protect the vial units from impacts. The tool is intended for tradespeople and installers who need reliable straightness and angle control in carpentry, construction and installation work.
The reinforced aluminium frame combines light weight and stiffness to minimise sag over long spans. Three precisely aligned vials enable accurate determination of horizontal, vertical and 45° positions without additional adjustments. Shock‑absorbing end caps extend the service life of the level by reducing damage from drops and knocks. The flat base of the profile ensures stable contact on edges and flat surfaces for consistent measurements.
Place the spirit level on the surface to be checked with its flat base fully in contact. For horizontal checks, align the bubble within the centre mark of the horizontal vial; for vertical checks, use the vertical vial. To verify a 45° angle, position the level against the surface and read the 45° vial. For long spans, support the level at intermediate points if necessary to avoid deflection. After use, store the level in a dry place and avoid heavy impacts to preserve vial alignment.
Inspect vials periodically for clarity and correct positioning before precision jobs. Clean the base and check surfaces of dirt or debris that could affect contact. When measuring critical alignments, confirm readings by rotating the level 180° and repeating the measurement to detect any cumulative error.
