Adjustable Wrench STANLEY FATMAX 0-95-874 — adjustable jaw hand tool
Adjustable Wrench STANLEY FATMAX 0-95-874 — adjustable jaw hand tool
STANLEY FATMAX 0-95-874 adjustable wrenches are handheld adjustable-jaw tools designed to turn nuts and bolts of varying sizes. Available in five lengths, the wrench family provides a movable jaw that slides along the shank to fit multiple fastener widths, making the tool suitable for general maintenance, plumbing, mechanical and construction tasks. The tools are manufactured from chrome vanadium steel with a full chrome finish and laser-etched metric and SAE scale markings for accurate setting and corrosion resistance.
The product line is offered in five dimensions (150 mm / 6", 200 mm / 8", 250 mm / 10", 300 mm / 12" and 375 mm / 15") and meets ISO 6787 / DIN 3117 / ASME B107.8M specifications. Forged chrome vanadium construction and chrome plating provide strength and anti-corrosion protection, while an extra-wide jaw capacity expands up to 34 mm (1-3/8") to cover a broad range of fastener sizes. Laser-etched SAE and metric markings enable precise adjustment. The redesigned wide handle increases user comfort by approximately 20% compared with the previous Stanley design, supporting extended manual use across construction, plumbing, automotive and home applications.
Select the appropriate wrench length for the task and open the movable jaw to accommodate the fastener. Position the wrench so the fixed jaw contacts the flat of the nut or bolt and adjust the movable jaw until a snug, non-slipping fit is achieved. Apply steady force with the handle while keeping the wrench aligned with the fastener to avoid rounding. For tightening, turn clockwise; for loosening, turn counterclockwise. After use, wipe off any debris or moisture and store the tool in a dry environment to preserve the chrome finish.
Use the STANLEY FATMAX adjustable wrench within the specified jaw capacity and avoid using cheater bars or excessive force. Regularly inspect the screw adjustment mechanism for wear and keep the laser-etched scale legible for accurate settings. For tasks requiring high torque or where a fixed-profile tool is indicated, select the appropriate sized spanner or socket to reduce the risk of fastener damage.
