Fold up torx key Stanley FATMAX 0-97-553
The Lock In Place multi-angle hex key handle secures hex keys to prevent unwanted movement of the handle during use. It features a Button Lock mechanism that releases the hex keys for easy and secure switching between locked and moving positions. The ergonomic handle improves grip, allowing the user to apply greater torque, while the extra-long keys provide reach to recessed bolts. Keys lock in three positions — 90°, 135° and 180° — for flexible access in confined spaces. Versions are available in Metric, Standard American (SAE) and TORX to cover a wide range of applications.
The Lock In Place feature is designed to prevent accidental rotation of the handle, increasing control and safety during tightening or loosening tasks. The Button Lock enables quick, reliable changes of key position without tools. An ergonomic handle improves comfort and torque transfer. Extra-long keys extend reach into recessed fasteners and the three locking angles provide versatile working positions for tight or awkward spaces. Multiple drive standards (Metric, SAE, TORX) make the tool adaptable for different fastener types.
Select the appropriate hex or TORX key for the fastener and insert it into the handle. Use the Button Lock to release or engage the key, then set the handle to the desired locking angle (90°, 135° or 180°) for the task. Apply steady torque using the ergonomic grip; the Lock In Place mechanism will prevent unwanted movement of the handle while turning fasteners. When finished, press the Button Lock to change or remove the key.
Use the Metric, SAE or TORX version that matches the fastener type to avoid rounding. Apply torque within the tool’s intended limits and keep keys clean and free of debris for reliable locking and long service life.
