Clamping bar (clamp) STANLEY Fatmax clamp type F 200 mm
Clamping bar (clamp) STANLEY Fatmax clamp type F 200 mm
STANLEY Fatmax clamp type F with 200 mm clamping capacity is a manual clamping tool designed to hold workpieces securely during assembly, gluing, cutting or fastening operations. The F-type design features a straight steel bar and a one-handed quick-adjust mechanism that allows the user to position the sliding jaw rapidly and apply consistent pressure. Built for woodworking, DIY projects and light workshop tasks, this clamp helps maintain alignment and stability of components while adhesives cure or fasteners are installed.
The straight bar profile ensures accurate alignment of clamped parts and resists bending under moderate loads. The ergonomic trigger allows single-hand operation for fast positioning and tightening, reducing the need for additional support while working. A durable construction with corrosion-resistant components provides reliable performance across repeated uses. Non-marring jaw pads protect finished surfaces from damage during clamping.
Position the clamp so the fixed jaw rests against one side of the workpiece and slide the movable jaw until it contacts the opposite side. Use the quick-adjust trigger to close the gap rapidly, then squeeze the main trigger to increase clamping pressure until the parts are held securely and aligned. Verify that jaw pads are properly seated on the workpiece to avoid surface marks. Release pressure by pressing the release lever and sliding the movable jaw away to remove the clamp.
Use multiple clamps spaced evenly for longer or wider workpieces to distribute pressure and prevent twisting. Avoid overtightening on delicate materials; apply only the amount of force needed to hold parts firmly. Inspect the bar and jaw pads regularly for wear and replace pads if they become damaged to maintain protective contact with finished surfaces.
