Aluminium Blind Rivet STANLEY 5 x 9.5 mm, 15 pcs PAA66T
Aluminium blind rivet STANLEY 5 x 9.5 mm, pack of 15 pieces, is a one-sided fastening solution intended for joining thin metal sheets, aluminium profiles and lightweight materials where access is available only from one side. These rivets are made from aluminium for corrosion resistance and lightweight performance, offering a reliable mechanical joint for repairs, fabrication and assembly in automotive, construction and DIY applications.
The aluminium construction provides good resistance to corrosion and reduces overall joint weight while maintaining sufficient shear and tensile strength for thin-sheet applications. Blind installation from one side simplifies assembly in confined or inaccessible areas. A standard 5 mm diameter and 9.5 mm length suit common panel thicknesses, and the supplied pack of 15 pieces supports multiple small repairs or small-scale assembly tasks.
Drill a correctly sized hole through the materials to be joined, align the components and insert the rivet body into the hole. Place the rivet mandrel into an appropriate blind rivet tool, seat the tool over the rivet head and actuate the tool to pull the mandrel until the rivet deforms and forms a secure blind head on the far side. After setting, the mandrel will break off and the rivet will hold the materials together. Ensure the rivet length matches the combined material thickness before installation.
Use a rivet tool rated for 5 mm aluminium rivets and check hole alignment and edge distances to avoid material deformation. For dissimilar metals or critical outdoor applications, consider material compatibility and additional sealing if necessary to prevent galvanic corrosion. Store rivets in a dry place to maintain condition prior to use.
