Drill Bit Set STANLEY STA58680 for Concrete, cylindrical, 5/6/8 mm
Drill Bit Set STANLEY STA58680 for Concrete, cylindrical, 5/6/8 mm
STANLEY STA58680 is a set of cylindrical drill bits engineered for drilling clean, accurate holes in concrete and masonry. The kit contains three diameters — 5 mm, 6 mm and 8 mm — designed to work with rotary and hammer drills. These bits are suitable for common anchoring and conduit tasks and fit tools equipped with standard chucks or SDS-plus-freeholders depending on the drill and adaptor used.
The cylindrical design provides consistent hole diameter for reliable anchor and dowel installation. Hardened steel construction and a ground flute profile deliver durability and efficient dust evacuation during drilling in concrete and masonry. The selection of three frequently used diameters covers a wide range of fixing and routing needs without requiring multiple individual purchases.
Select the appropriate diameter for the anchor or conduit being installed. Secure the bit in the drill chuck or SDS-plus-freeholder adaptor according to the drill manufacturer’s instructions. Use a hammer-drill function for reinforced concrete or where faster penetration is required; use rotary mode for softer masonry. Apply steady forward pressure and avoid excessive side load. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear dust and allow cooling for longer holes.
Wear eye and ear protection and a dust mask when drilling into concrete. Use recommended anchor sizes for each hole diameter and test fit fixings before final installation. For prolonged drilling or very hard concrete, allow the bit to cool and consider using a lubricant appropriate for masonry bits or intermittent drilling to extend tool life.
