Screwdriver bit STANLEY STA61161 PH2 50 mm hexagonal shank, 1 pc
Single STANLEY screwdriver bit STA61161 with a PH2 Phillips tip and a 50 mm length. The bit has a 1/4" hexagonal shank designed to fit standard bit holders, manual screwdrivers and powered drivers that accept 1/4" hex bits. It is intended for general fastening tasks where a PH2 tip is required, offering a compact length for use in both accessible and slightly recessed screw positions.
The PH2 geometry provides reliable engagement with Phillips screws to reduce cam-out and slippage during driving. The 50 mm length balances reach and control, allowing access to screws in shallow recesses while preserving stability when used with bit holders or powered drivers. The standardized 1/4" hexagonal shank ensures compatibility with a wide range of bit holders, quick-change chucks and manual screwdrivers that accept hex bits.
Insert the 1/4" hex shank into the bit holder, quick-change chuck or manual screwdriver designed for hex bits. Ensure the bit is seated securely before applying torque. Align the PH2 tip with the screw head and apply steady pressure while driving to maintain engagement and reduce the risk of cam-out. For powered drivers, start at low speed to position the screw, then increase speed as needed. Replace the bit when tip wear affects engagement with screws.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses when operating powered drivers. Match the PH2 tip to Phillips screw heads of the correct size to prevent damage to the screw or bit. Avoid excessive torque beyond the bit or driver rating to extend bit life.
