The StarTech.com Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter 4K 30Hz (MDP2HD4KS) converts a Mini DisplayPort (mDP) or compatible Thunderbolt output into an HDMI connection, enabling connection of Ultrabooks, tablets and laptops to HDMI displays. This active adapter supports video resolutions up to Ultra HD 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz and carries digital audio up to 7.1 channel surround sound. It is compact and lightweight (0.016 kg) for easy portability and is backward compatible with earlier DisplayPort revisions for lower resolutions.
