The StarTech.com 10m LC to LC (UPC) OS2 Single Mode Duplex Fiber Optic Cable (9/125µm) enables reliable connectivity for 100G networks and CWDM applications over OS2 fiber. The cable supports an extended CWDM wavelength range of 1260–1625 nm and is backward compatible with OS1, making it suitable for connections between servers, switches and other data center equipment. The jumper features a bend-insensitive core, UPC-polished LC to LC ends and a Low-Smoke Zero-Halogen (LSZH) jacket for safer installations.

Advantages

Precision ceramic ferrules and UPC polishing deliver low insertion loss (below 0.3 dB) and improved return loss compared with older PC-polished connectors. The bend-insensitive fiber design reduces signal degradation in tight routing paths, while compliance with ITU-T G.652.D/G.657.A1 and IEC standards ensures low attenuation and consistent optical performance. The LSZH jacket minimizes smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire. Each cable is individually tested for insertion loss and supplied with a test report.
