StarTech.com 10m LC to LC OS2 Single Mode Fiber Optic Cable (9/125µm) provides reliable connectivity for 40G and 100G CWDM applications over OS2 fiber networks. The cable supports an extended wavelength range of 1260–1625 nm and is designed for long-distance links with low attenuation. It is compatible with simplex networking devices, SFP transceivers, and fiber NICs, and is backward compatible with OS1 installations.

Advantages

Precision ceramic ferrules ensure accurate fiber alignment and insertion loss below 0.3 dB. UPC-polished LC connectors improve return loss compared with older PC polishing methods. The bend-insensitive fiber core plus a low refractive index layer reduces light leakage and improves performance in routed or tight-path installations. The cable meets or exceeds ITU-T G.652.D / G.657.A1 and IEC 60703-2-50 type B1.3 / B6.a1 standards, and each unit is individually tested with an included insertion loss report. The LSZH jacket provides low smoke and zero halogen properties for safer installations in confined or poorly ventilated spaces.
