The StarTech.com SSTDC4D-LAPTOP-LOCK is a K-slot compatible 5 ft (1.5 m) locking cable designed to deter theft of laptops, ultra-slim notebooks and other devices with a K-Slot security slot. It combines a cut-resistant steel cable with a keyless 4-digit combination mechanism and an off-center lock tip that helps thin laptops lie flat while secured. The lock head rotates 360° and includes a protective foam spacer to prevent scuffing.

Advantages

This combination cable lock provides up to 10,000 possible codes so users can set a unique 4-digit combination without carrying keys. The 1.5 m cut-resistant steel cable resists cutting and the lock mechanism is rated to withstand up to 160 lb (73 kg) of pulling force under standard slot designs. The off-center tip and 360° rotating 14 mm lock head reduce strain on device security slots and help keep ultrabooks and thin laptops flat while locked.
