The StarTech.com 1 Port 2.5Gbps PoE Network Card (model ST1000PEXPSE) is a PCIe Ethernet adapter that delivers multigigabit network speeds up to 2.5 Gbps while supplying power over a single Cat5e (or better) cable. Designed for desktop and server installations, the card supports Power over Ethernet to power remote devices and uses a standard PCIe x1 slot with an included low-profile bracket for flexible mounting.

This PoE NIC supports IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at standards and can provide up to 25.5 W (48 V DC) to compatible Powered Devices.
