It features male connectors on both ends and is compatible with Thunderbolt, USB 3.1 Gen 2 and DisplayPort devices, enabling high-resolution video, fast file transfers and device charging with a single cable.

Advantages

This cable delivers up to 40 Gbps when connected to a Thunderbolt 3 host, providing transfer speeds four times faster than USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gbps). It supports dual 4K at 60 Hz or 5K at 60 Hz video and is DisplayPort 1.2 compatible. The cable supplies up to 100 W for laptop charging or powering displays and up to 15 W for bus-powered peripherals. It also supports Thunderbolt networking for peer-to-peer 10GbE connections and daisy-chaining of up to six Thunderbolt devices.
