The StarTech.com UNIRAILS1U are 1U fixed, adjustable-depth universal rack rails that allow mounting of non-rackmount servers, networking devices or KVM switches into any standard 19" EIA-310 server rack. Constructed from cold-rolled steel, the rails convert desktop or OEM equipment without original rails into secure 1U rack-mounted hardware and are TAA compliant for government procurement.

Advantages

These rack rails provide universal compatibility with 19" racks and adjustable depth to fit a variety of cabinet configurations. They support mounting of equipment with or without existing rack rails, include multiple mounting patterns for added security, and feature a removable rear cable-management panel. How to use

Mount the front and rear rail brackets to the 19" rack posts at the desired U position, adjusting the rail depth to match your cabinet. Place the non-rackmount equipment onto the undercarriage of the rails; if the device has mounting holes, align and secure it using the provided M5 screws and available mounting patterns. Reinstall or attach the removable rear cable management panel as needed to organize cables.

Usage recommendations
