The adapter also includes a USB 3.0 Type-A port so you can continue to connect Type-A peripherals while using the adapter for network access. It supports full Gigabit bandwidth over USB 3.0 (5 Gbps) and is compatible with Chrome OS and Windows 8.1 natively; Mac OS X 10.10 is supported with driver installation.
