The Network transmitter & receiver StarTech.com USB110EXT2 extends a USB 1.1 device connection up to 40 m (131 ft) over standard Cat5 or Cat6 UTP cabling, allowing the host computer to be placed remotely. The compact units require no external power when the host supplies sufficient current and are suitable for connecting remote USB cameras, keyboards, mice and other input devices where installation space or access to power outlets is limited.
