Passive infrared sensor STEINEL IS 130-2 Wired Wall Anthracite
Passive infrared sensor STEINEL IS 130-2 Wired Wall Anthracite
The STEINEL IS 130-2 Wired Wall Anthracite is a passive infrared sensor designed for indoor and outdoor use. It provides motion detection up to 12 metres and connects to mains AC power (230–240 V, 50 Hz). Housed in a compact anthracite enclosure (78 mm × 87 mm × 110 mm), the sensor is intended for wall mounting where discreet, reliable presence detection is required. The IS 130-2 combines an unobtrusive profile with adjustable detection performance to suit different entryways, façades and driveway approaches.
The IS 130-2 offers precise passive infrared detection with a rated reach of up to 12 metres and a design that is suitable for both exterior and interior mounting. Its wired connection to standard AC mains ensures continuous operation without battery replacement. The compact dimensions and anthracite finish allow the sensor to blend with contemporary exterior fittings while providing configurable detection behaviour to match site-specific requirements.
Mount the IS 130-2 on a stable wall surface at the recommended height and connect it to the building’s 230–240 V AC supply following applicable electrical regulations and safety practices. Adjust the sensor orientation and any available on-unit settings to align the detection zone with the area to be monitored. Once installed and powered, the sensor continuously monitors for changes in infrared radiation and switches its output when motion is detected. Ensure wiring is performed by a qualified person when required by local codes.
Position the sensor to avoid direct exposure to heat sources, reflective surfaces or sweeping vegetation that could cause false triggers. For outdoor installations, select a sheltered mounting point to reduce exposure to severe weather while maintaining a clear line of sight over the area to be monitored.
