Acrylic adhesive STEINEL 70110 600 g

Strong hot-melt acrylic adhesive designed for demanding surfaces. The STEINEL 70110 (600 g) provides high resistance to ageing and stable performance at elevated temperatures while remaining flexible at low temperatures, allowing use in colder environments without becoming brittle. At an application nozzle temperature of 200°C it bonds diverse materials including wood, paper, coated paper, cardboard, rubber, CR, leather, metals and many plastics such as ABS, melamine, PC, PET, Plexiglas®/PMMA, PS and PVC. The adhesive sets firm within a maximum of 15 seconds and develops a strong bond after approximately 60 seconds. The product is supplied as a stick for hot-melt dispensers and the acrylate adhesive should be applied using a 4.5 mm long nozzle. (Times and recommendations are indicative.)

How to use

Install the 600 g adhesive stick into a compatible hot-melt dispenser and heat to the recommended application temperature (about 200°C). Fit a 4.5 mm long nozzle and apply an even bead to one of the surfaces to be joined. Press the parts together within the initial set time (up to 15 seconds) to obtain handling strength, and allow about 60 seconds for a strong bond to form. Adjust dispensing speed and bead size according to material porosity and joint size. Observe the dispenser manufacturer’s safety and operating instructions.
