Adhesive Stick Steinel 70130
The Steinel 70130 adhesive stick is a solvent-free, all-purpose professional hot-melt glue designed for use with compatible glue guns. Supplied in a 600 g pack (20 sticks), this white adhesive bonds a wide range of materials including wood, paper, cardboard, fabrics, glass, ceramics, metals and many plastics such as ABS, melamine, PA, PC, PE, PET, PMMA, POM, PP and PVC. It is suitable for industrial and trade applications and retains performance across an operating temperature range of 5 to 65 °C.
The Steinel 70130 adhesive stick melts at an application temperature of around 190 °C and sets quickly—firm in up to 15 seconds with a practical handling strength reached in approximately 60–90 seconds. Being solvent-free, it reduces fumes during application. Packaged as 20 sticks per 600 g, it offers consistent, reliable bonding for a variety of substrates and frequent use in workshop or production settings.
Load the adhesive sticks into a compatible hot-melt glue gun, allow the gun to reach the recommended operating temperature (approximately 190 °C) and apply the molten adhesive to one of the surfaces to be bonded. Press the parts together immediately and hold until an initial set is achieved (firm in up to 15 seconds). Full practical strength is typically reached after about 60–90 seconds; allow additional curing time for larger contact areas or porous materials.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment and ensure adequate ventilation when operating at high temperature. Test adhesion on representative materials before final assembly when working with plastics not listed explicitly. Store sticks in a cool, dry place within the specified temperature range to preserve performance.
