Circular saw blade STHOR 08820 — 1 pc, carbide-tipped (model 08820)
STHOR 08820 is a single-piece carbide-tipped circular saw blade designed for clean, durable cross and angle cutting of hardwood and wood-based materials. Supplied as one piece, the blade fits circular saws compatible with its arbor and mounting and is intended for woodworking and general carpentry tasks that require a long-lasting cutting edge. Some hard plastics may be cut with testing recommended before use.
The blade features carbide-tipped teeth brazed with brass for improved durability and wear resistance. Its positive rake angle of approximately 10 degrees and alternate BA tooth geometry provide efficient cutting performance and a cut width of about 3.0 mm, supporting smooth cross and angle cuts in timber and composite wood products.
This blade is not optimised for precision fine finishing cuts where ultra-fine tooth counts are required; a blade with a finer tooth pitch may produce smoother surfaces. Cutting very hard plastics or non-wood materials should be preceded by test cuts, as performance and wear can vary.
Install the blade on a circular saw that matches the blade’s arbor and mounting specifications, following the saw manufacturer’s safety and installation instructions. Ensure the blade is secured, check rotation direction, and adjust saw speed and feed rate according to the material being cut. For best results with hardwoods and panels, use steady, even feed pressure; perform test cuts when working with hard plastics. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and follow machine safety practices.
Use the STHOR 08820 carbide-tipped circular blade for standard cross and angle cuts in hardwood and wood-based materials; maintain correct saw setup, perform test cuts on unfamiliar plastics, and replace the blade when carbide teeth show wear to preserve cut quality and safety.
