Circular saw blade STHOR 08832, 1 pc
STHOR 08832 circular saw blade supplied as a single unit. The blade is designed for general woodworking and joinery tasks and fits circular saws that accept this blade size and fixing type. It is intended for cutting hardwood, wood-based panels and some harder plastics (test cutting recommended) and features a forked cap brazed in with brass for secure tooth mounting.
The blade has a positive rake angle of approximately 10 degrees and alternate (BA) tooth geometry, providing a balance between cutting speed and finish quality. Teeth are brazed with brass for durability and stable tooth retention. The blade thickness (cut) is approximately 3.5 mm, which contributes to strength and resistance to bending during cutting.
This blade is not intended for continuous cutting of highly abrasive materials, non-ferrous or ferrous metals, or specialised laminates that require a very thin or fine-tooth blade. For precision ultra-thin rip cuts or very fine finish requirements, a blade with finer tooth pitch and thinner kerf would be more appropriate.
Install the blade on a compatible circular saw following the saw manufacturer’s mounting and safety instructions. Ensure the blade is securely fastened and that the saw’s guards and safety devices are in place. For best results, match feed rate and rotation speed to the material being cut and perform a test cut when working with hard plastics or unfamiliar materials. Allow the saw and blade to reach full speed before engaging the cut and avoid excessive side pressure.
Use the STHOR 08832 blade for standard cross and angle cuts in hardwood and engineered wood; perform test cuts when using harder plastics and follow all saw safety guidelines.
