Sunlu ABS High-Speed 3D Printer Filament — blue, MPN ABS H-S KB
Sunlu ABS High-Speed Filament in blue is a 1.75 mm ABS filament formulated for high-speed FDM/FFF 3D printing. It is intended for users who need faster extrusion and shorter print times while keeping functional properties typical of ABS, such as impact resistance and heat tolerance. The filament comes in 1 kg spools and is suitable for parts that require good surface finish and dimensional stability at elevated printing speeds.
The filament supports print speeds up to 350 mm/s while maintaining dimensional stability and fine detail. It offers a heat deflection temperature of 91°C and an IZOD notched impact strength of 10 kJ/m², providing a balance of heat resistance, toughness and stiffness. These characteristics reduce the risk of warping and cracking during high-speed prints and result in consistent, reliable parts with a smooth surface.
This filament may not be the best choice for applications requiring chemical resistance not typical of ABS or for use in environments exceeding its heat deflection temperature. Very fine decorative models that prioritise ultra-fine surface detail over mechanical strength may be better printed with other specialty materials.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into an FDM/FFF printer that supports ABS. Recommended print settings typically include a heated bed and an enclosed build chamber to minimise warping; tune nozzle temperature, bed temperature and cooling according to your printer and part geometry. Use printing speeds up to 350 mm/s as supported by your machine and adjust acceleration and jerk settings to maintain print quality at higher speeds. Post-processing such as sanding or acetone smoothing may be applied where appropriate for surface finish.
For best results, print in an enclosed or heated environment, preheat the bed and calibrate extrusion flow at higher speeds. Start with conservative acceleration and increase gradually to find the balance between cadence and surface quality for your specific printer.
