Sunlu ABS High-Speed Filament in red is an ABS-grade thermoplastic formulated for fast 3D printing while preserving strength, heat resistance and surface quality. It is intended for users who need rapid turnaround without sacrificing dimensional accuracy or part performance, and it is compatible with printers that support ABS filament when proper bed adhesion and ventilation are used.
The filament supports print speeds up to 350 mm/s and maintains good dimensional stability to reduce warping and cracking during high-speed workflows. It exhibits a heat deflection temperature of 91°C, a high notched IZOD impact value and a stiffness suited for functional parts, delivering a balance of durability, detail and attractive surface finish even at elevated extrusion speeds.
This ABS filament is not ideal for users who cannot provide an appropriate heated bed, enclosure or adequate part adhesion strategies; without proper setup, printed parts may warp or detach. It may also be unsuitable where very low-odor or food-safe materials are required, since ABS typically emits fumes during printing and is not food-safe without specific post-processing and certification.
Load the filament into a 3D printer compatible with ABS and set printing parameters according to your machine and nozzle. Use a heated bed and recommended extrusion temperatures for ABS, ensure good bed adhesion (brim, raft or adhesive surface) and provide ambient ventilation or enclosure to control cooling. Adjust speed, flow and temperature as needed to balance print speed with surface quality and dimensional accuracy.
For best results at high speeds, calibrate extrusion flow and retraction, use a stable heated bed temperature, and test small calibration prints before committing to large parts; store spools dry to prevent moisture-related print defects.
