Sunlu ABS 3D Printer Filament Red — ABS R
Sunlu ABS 3D Printer Filament Red — ABS R is an ABS polymer filament for FDM/FFF 3D printers intended for durable prototypes, functional parts and enclosures. The material offers good mechanical strength, impact resistance and thermal stability typical of ABS. Use with a heated bed and appropriate printer settings to reduce warping and achieve reliable adhesion.
Sunlu ABS provides high mechanical strength and impact resistance while remaining suitable for post-processing such as drilling, tapping, sanding and painting. It maintains dimensional stability and surface quality under friction and elevated temperatures, making it a practical choice for functional components and simple technical prototypes. The filament is available in red and works well where wear resistance and retention of properties during prolonged use are required.
ABS is prone to warping and is sensitive to rapid temperature changes; it may not be suitable for printers without a heated bed or without an enclosed build chamber. For very high-temperature applications or parts requiring high elongation at break, other engineering polymers may be more appropriate.
Print Sunlu ABS with a heated bed and use an enclosed printer where possible to maintain stable ambient temperature and reduce warping. Adjust nozzle and bed temperatures according to your printer and slicer recommendations for ABS; ensure good first-layer adhesion and consider a brim or raft for larger parts. After printing, allow parts to cool gradually inside the enclosure before removal. The printed parts can be post-processed by sanding, drilling, tapping and painting to achieve the required fit and finish.
For best results print with a heated bed and an enclosed build chamber; start with manufacturer-recommended temperatures and fine-tune speeds and cooling to balance surface finish and interlayer adhesion.
