Sunlu ASA Filament (Green) is a 1.75 mm ASA thermoplastic filament for FDM/FFF 3D printers. It is formulated to deliver enhanced resistance to UV radiation, rain and high temperatures while maintaining good mechanical strength and dimensional stability. The material provides reliable outdoor performance for parts and housings that must retain colour and shape under prolonged exposure to sunlight and moisture. Diameter tolerance is ±0.02 mm to support consistent, smooth extrusion and high print quality.

Advantages

ASA combines high UV and weather resistance with strong mechanical properties, offering improved longevity compared with PLA and ABS for outdoor use. It provides excellent layer adhesion and low warping when printed at recommended temperatures, and the filament’s tight diameter tolerance supports consistent extrusion and surface finish. When it may not be suitable

ASA is less suitable for very fine decorative models where a glossy, injection-moulded finish is required; post-processing may be needed to achieve a smooth, aesthetic surface. How to use
