Sunlu PC-ABS Filament White — PC-ABS 1.75 mm (MPN: PC-ABS W)
Sunlu PC-ABS Filament in white is a polymer 3D printing material that combines the properties of polycarbonate and ABS. Supplied as 1.75 mm filament for FDM/FFF printers, it is designed for functional parts and prototypes that require higher strength, impact resistance and thermal stability than standard ABS. The filament features low shrinkage, good layer adhesion and a smooth surface finish suitable for further processing.
The PC-ABS blend delivers elevated heat deflection temperature (up to 102°C), high tensile and flexural strength, and improved impact resistance compared with typical ABS. Stable filament diameter and zero-bubble production help ensure a consistent printing process, while the smooth printed surface simplifies post-processing such as painting, coating or metallization.
PC-ABS requires higher extrusion and bed temperatures than PLA or standard ABS and may need an enclosed or heated build chamber for best results. It is not the best choice for simple decorative prints where low-temperature materials would suffice.
For applications requiring very high elongation or extreme chemical resistance, other specialized materials may be more appropriate.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into an FDM/FFF printer capable of reaching the recommended temperatures. Set nozzle temperature to 260–280°C and bed temperature to 50–70°C; use adhesive on the build plate to improve adhesion. Adjust print speed according to part geometry and printer capability (up to 230 mm/s possible), and consider slower speeds for best surface quality. For reduced internal stresses and improved mechanical properties, follow recommended curing/annealing at 70–80°C if applicable.
For consistent results, dry the filament if exposed to moisture, use a stable extrusion setup and start with conservative speeds and temperatures, then optimise settings for your printer and specific part geometry.
