Sunlu PETG Filament (Beige) is a 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool of PETG designed for FDM/FFF 3D printing. The filament offers reliable extrusion, good interlayer adhesion and improved dimensional stability compared with typical PLA, enabling durable and functional parts. Beige colour makes it suitable for visible prototypes, mechanical components and everyday objects that require strength and moderate weather resistance.
Sunlu PETG provides strong layer bonding and high impact resistance, which results in robust prints with good structural integrity. The material combines chemical and moisture resistance with reduced tendency to warp, making printing more predictable. Its mechanical properties support production of parts that retain performance over time.
PETG has a higher printing temperature and different flow characteristics compared with PLA, so some printers may require tuning of temperature and retraction settings. It is not ideal for applications requiring high heat resistance above its Vicat and heat deflection temperatures.
Load the 1.75 mm Sunlu PETG filament onto a compatible FDM/FFF printer and set the nozzle temperature according to printer and filament recommendations (around the stated melting temperature). Adjust bed temperature, first-layer height and print speed to optimise adhesion and surface finish. Tune retraction and cooling settings to reduce stringing and improve layer appearance. Allow printed parts to cool gradually before handling to avoid deformation.
For reliable results, start with moderate print speeds, a heated bed, and tuning of retraction and cooling. Use this Sunlu PETG filament for mechanically stressed parts and functional prototypes where impact resistance and durability are required.
