Sunlu PETG Filament Ivory — PETG 1.75 mm spool for 3D printing
Sunlu PETG Filament Ivory is a 1.75 mm PETG spool designed for FDM 3D printing. It combines good layer adhesion, chemical resistance and impact strength to produce functional and visually consistent parts. The ivory colour offers a neutral, slightly warm finish suitable for prototypes, mechanical components and decorative prints that require durability and predictable printing behaviour.
Sunlu PETG provides strong interlayer adhesion and reduced warping, which helps achieve smooth, reliable prints with good structural integrity. The material offers high impact resistance and long-term stability, making finished models suitable for both indoor and some outdoor uses. Its balance of strength and printability makes it applicable for components that must endure daily use or mechanical stress.
PETG is less heat-resistant than engineering thermoplastics like ABS or polycarbonate; the Vicat softening and heat deflection temperatures are around 68 °C, so prolonged exposure to high temperatures can deform parts. Very flexible or highly elastic parts are also not ideal with PETG because its elongation at break (about 17%) and stiffness favour more rigid components.
Load the 1.75 mm Sunlu PETG filament into a compatible FDM printer and set a nozzle temperature around the material's melting point, typically in the range recommended for PETG (start near 230–250 °C and adjust as needed for your printer and nozzle). Use a heated bed to reduce warping and improve adhesion; bed temperatures around 70–80 °C are commonly effective for PETG. Calibrate printing speed, retraction and cooling to reduce stringing and ensure good layer bonding. Allow printed parts to cool slowly and inspect for dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
For reliable results with Sunlu PETG Filament Ivory, start with a nozzle temperature suited to your specific printer (commonly 230–250 °C), use a heated bed around 70–80 °C, enable moderate cooling, and tune retraction settings to limit stringing. Store the filament dry to preserve print quality.
