Sunlu PETG High-Speed Matte Filament Black – PETG 3D printer filament, high-speed matte finish
Sunlu PETG High-Speed Matte Filament (black) is a PETG 3D printer filament formulated for fast printing with a matte surface finish. It combines PETG's chemical and thermal resistance with an optimized melt flow for printing speeds from 50 to 600 mm/s, enabling shorter print times while keeping good dimensional accuracy and a subdued, professional appearance.
The filament offers improved melt flow that supports smoother feeding, reduced layer-line visibility, and a consistent matte surface that minimizes reflections. It provides a balance of durability and flexibility suitable for functional parts, with resistance to impacts, wear and many common chemicals. Compatibility with many FDM printers and a reduced tendency to show gloss make it useful for both technical and aesthetic applications.
Because the material is optimized for high melt flow, it is more sensitive to moisture than some other filaments; if stored or printed damp, it can cause stringing, oozing, or surface defects. It may also be less suitable for applications requiring very high heat resistance above the stated heat deflection temperature.
Load the filament into a PETG-compatible FDM printer and set printing speeds according to your printer's capabilities, within the recommended 50–600 mm/s range if supported. Use typical PETG printing temperatures and adjust retraction, cooling and extrusion multiplier to reduce stringing and achieve the desired matte surface. Keep printing environment and bed preparation consistent with PETG best practices for adhesion and dimensional stability.
Store the filament dry and use proper retraction and cooling settings to minimize stringing; test small prints to fine-tune speed and extrusion for a balance of surface finish and throughput when printing with Sunlu PETG High-Speed Matte Filament Black.
