Filament Sunlu PETG High-Speed Matte — Sunlu PETG H-S M G filament, green, high-speed matte finish
Sunlu PETG High-Speed Matte Filament (green) is a PETG 3D printing filament formulated for faster printing while maintaining a low-gloss, matte surface. The material is developed for high-speed extrusion at speeds from 50 to 600 mm/s, offering improved melt flow, better feeding stability and reduced visibility of layer lines. It is intended for users who need a balance of productivity, durability and a subdued professional finish.
The filament combines PETG’s mechanical strength and chemical resistance with a matte surface that reduces reflections and improves visual uniformity. Improved melt flow supports higher printing speeds and smoother filament feeding, while the material’s toughness and elongation provide reliable performance for working prototypes and functional parts.
The increased fluidity that enables high-speed printing also makes the filament more sensitive to moisture. If the filament absorbs excessive moisture, prints can suffer from stringing, material leakage and other surface defects. Very high-temperature applications above the material’s heat deflection temperature (around 70 °C) are not recommended.
Use Sunlu PETG High-Speed Matte on FDM/FFF printers with a nozzle and hotend capable of stable extrusion at the recommended melt conditions. Adjust print speed within the 50–600 mm/s range depending on your printer’s capabilities and desired surface quality. Set nozzle and bed temperatures according to your printer’s PETG guidelines and calibrate retraction to minimise stringing. Store the filament in a dry environment or sealed container with desiccant to prevent moisture uptake.
For best results, dry the filament before printing if it has been exposed to humidity, use moderate retraction settings to reduce stringing, and test printing at incrementally higher speeds to find the optimum balance between surface quality and print time.
