Filament Sunlu PETG High-Speed Matte (White) - PETG high-speed matte 1.75 mm
Sunlu PETG High-Speed Matte (White) is a PETG filament formulated for faster FDM 3D printing while delivering a subdued matte surface. Designed for use with standard 1.75 mm extruders, this white filament balances improved melt flow for high-speed printing with the mechanical properties and chemical resistance typical of PETG, making it suitable for functional prototypes, mechanical parts and decorative objects.
The filament enables high-speed printing at 50–600 mm/s thanks to improved melt flow, which supports smoother feeding and reduced visible layer lines. It combines impact resistance and flexibility with good tensile and flexural strength, giving reliable performance for both functional and aesthetic prints. The matte surface reduces reflections and provides a professional, low-gloss finish without additional post-processing.
Because this high-speed PETG variant has increased fluidity, it is more sensitive to moisture uptake; wet filament can cause stringing, oozing or reduced print quality. It may also be less suitable for applications requiring a high-gloss finish or where extreme high-temperature resistance above the listed heat deflection temperature is required.
Use this filament with FDM 3D printers set up for 1.75 mm filament. Start with printing temperatures around the material’s melt range and follow your printer manufacturer's recommendations for PETG-type materials; adjust retraction and printing speeds to take advantage of the filament’s high-speed capability (50–600 mm/s) while minimising stringing. Ensure proper bed adhesion using suitable build surfaces or adhesives and allow printed parts to cool sufficiently before handling.
Store the spool in a dry environment or sealed bag with desiccant. When printing, optimise retraction and temperature settings to reduce stringing and take advantage of the filament’s high-speed capabilities while maintaining good layer adhesion.
