Sunlu PETG High-Speed Matte Filament Yellow — 3D printing PETG, high-flow matte finish
Sunlu PETG High-Speed Matte Filament Yellow is a PETG 3D printing material developed for high-flow and high-speed printing while delivering a subdued matte surface. The filament targets users who need faster print times without sacrificing dimensional stability or impact resistance; it combines improved melt flow and interlayer adhesion to produce smoother feeding, reduced layer visibility and an even, professional matte look.
The filament supports printing at speeds from 50 to 600 mm/s thanks to its increased melt flow, which reduces nozzle pressure and improves feeding consistency. It provides good mechanical performance for PETG, including tensile strength, flexural strength and impact resistance, and yields a matte finish that reduces reflections and often removes the need for extra surface post-processing.
Because the material has increased fluidity, it is more sensitive to moisture than some other filaments. If stored or printed wet, it can develop stringing, material leakage or other defects that degrade surface quality and dimensional accuracy. Also, if very high heat resistance beyond the stated heat deflection temperature is required, this PETG may not be the ideal choice.
Load the filament into a compatible FDM 3D printer and use standard PETG print settings as a starting point. Adjust nozzle and bed temperatures according to your printer and part geometry, taking into account the filament’s higher melt flow; test for optimal extrusion multiplier and retraction settings to minimise stringing. Ensure proper bed adhesion and cooling settings suitable for PETG to achieve the best balance between layer bonding and surface finish.
Store the filament in a dry environment and perform small test prints to tune extrusion, retraction and cooling. For best results at high speeds, verify printer mechanics and extrusion system stability before large production runs.
