Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 Filament in beige is a 1.75 mm PLA+ material designed for FDM/FFF 3D printers. It offers increased flow compared with standard PLA, tighter diameter tolerance and lowered risk of nozzle clogs and warping. The formulation aims to combine ease of printing with higher toughness and improved layer adhesion, making it suitable for faster and more reliable printing of both decorative and functional parts.
Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 provides up to 1.5× greater flow than standard PLA, which supports an even filament feed and a more stable printing process. The material improves impact resistance and durability while retaining PLA’s straightforward printability, and its 1.75 mm diameter with ±0.02 mm tolerance helps maintain dimensional accuracy and reduce extrusion problems.
This filament has a Vicat softening temperature around 54 °C and heat deflection close to 53.8 °C, so it may not be appropriate for parts exposed to sustained higher temperatures. For applications requiring very high thermal resistance or continuous outdoor exposure, consider materials specifically formulated for heat or UV resistance.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into an FDM/FFF printer configured for PLA-type materials. Recommended print settings typically fall within standard PLA ranges but may be adjusted to exploit the filament’s higher flow—start testing at nozzle temperatures near the filament melting point and increase speed gradually up to 300 mm/s while monitoring print quality. Use a heated bed or adhesion aid if needed; cooling fans can help maintain surface detail and reduce stringing. Store the filament in a dry environment or in a filament dryer to avoid moisture absorption.
For consistent results, perform a small calibration print to establish optimal nozzle temperature, retraction and print speed. When printing functional parts, consider moderate infill and appropriate wall thickness to make use of the material’s improved toughness.
