Filament Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 (Coffee Brown) — PLA+ 1.75 mm for FDM 3D Printing
Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 (Coffee Brown) is a 1.75 mm PLA+ filament formulated to deliver improved toughness, smoother extrusion, and reliable print performance for FDM 3D printers. It offers higher material flow than standard PLA, stable feeding with a ±0.02 mm diameter tolerance, and reduced tendency to warp, making it suitable for faster printing and consistent results across prototypes, decorative prints, and functional models.
Compared with standard PLA, this PLA+ version provides increased durability and crack resistance while retaining PLA’s ease of use. The material supports higher flow for stable extrusion, lowering the risk of nozzle clogging and enabling faster print speeds without sacrificing surface quality. It combines aesthetic surface finish with mechanical properties closer to more robust thermoplastics.
This filament has a higher heat deflection and Vicat softening point than some PLAs but is not intended for high-temperature engineering applications. Parts exposed to prolonged temperatures near or above the material’s softening point (around 54 °C) may deform. For outdoor use or continuous thermal stress, consider materials with higher heat resistance.
Load the filament into an FDM 3D printer designed for 1.75 mm filament. Start with common PLA+ print settings and adjust as needed: use a nozzle temperature appropriate for PLA+ (typically around the material’s melting range) and set bed temperature according to your printer and adhesion method. Calibrate flow and retraction to take advantage of the higher flow rate and to reduce stringing. Ensure consistent filament feed and store the spool dry to prevent moisture uptake.
For best results, print with tuned temperatures and flow settings, keep the filament dry between uses, and avoid prolonged exposure of printed parts to temperatures near or above 50–55 °C to maintain dimensional stability and mechanical properties.
