Compared with standard PLA, this PLA+ 2.0 formula provides up to 1.5× better flow for even filament feed and fewer extrusion issues. It combines PLA ease of printing with enhanced durability similar to easy ABS, offering higher crack resistance and longer-lasting printed parts. Tight diameter tolerance (1.75 mm ±0.02 mm) helps maintain dimensional accuracy and reduces the risk of nozzle clogs and print defects.

When it may not be suitable

Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 is not intended for high-temperature applications where parts are exposed to heat above its softening range; its Vicat softening and heat deflection temperatures are around 54 °C, so prolonged exposure to higher temperatures can cause deformation. For applications that require very high impact resistance, chemical resistance, or continuous thermal stability well above 54 °C, consider alternative engineering plastics.
