Filament Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 (Oak) — PLA+ 1.75 mm, Oak color, for FDM 3D printers

Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 (Oak) is a 1.75 mm PLA+ filament formulated for FDM 3D printers. It offers increased flow and improved toughness compared with standard PLA, providing smoother feeding, reduced risk of nozzle clogging, and lower warping. The oak-coloured material is suitable for functional prototypes, decorative parts and everyday items where a wood-like appearance and greater durability are required.

Advantages

Compared with standard PLA, this PLA+ 2.0 grade provides up to 1.5× greater flow for more even extrusion and a more stable printing process. It combines PLA ease-of-use with enhanced mechanical properties similar to Easy ABS — greater crack resistance, higher tensile strength and improved impact resistance — while maintaining compatibility with common FDM printers and PLA print settings.

When it may not be suitable

This filament is not intended for high-temperature applications that exceed its heat deflection and softening temperatures (around 53–54 °C). Also, although its toughness is improved versus standard PLA, it may still be less suitable than true ABS or PETG for specific chemical or impact-heavy industrial uses.

How to use

Load the 1.75 mm filament into any compatible FDM printer and use standard PLA or PLA+ print settings as a starting point. Recommended extrusion temperatures are around the material melting point; adjust temperature and print speed to optimize layer adhesion and surface finish. The filament supports higher print speeds (up to 300 mm/s) with stable feeding, but for best dimensional accuracy and surface quality reduce speed and fine-tune retraction and cooling settings as needed.

Usage recommendations
