3D Printer Filament Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 Sunny Orange, PLA+ material, 1.75 mm
3D Printer Filament Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 Sunny Orange, PLA+ material, 1.75 mm
Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 Sunny Orange is a 1.75 mm PLA+ filament formulated for FDM/FFF 3D printing. The material version 2.0 improves flow and feed stability compared with standard PLA, helping to reduce extrusion issues and warping while supporting faster print speeds. It is intended for users who need reliable, durable prints with good surface finish and consistent dimensional results.
Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 combines the user-friendly printing characteristics of PLA with enhanced toughness and crack resistance similar to Easy ABS. The filament provides smoother feeding due to improved flow, lower tendency to warp, and supports higher printing speeds without frequent nozzle clogs. These properties make it suitable for producing sturdier models and functional parts while maintaining an attractive surface quality.
This PLA+ filament has a moderate heat resistance (Vicat ~54 °C, HDT ~53.8 °C), so it is not appropriate for applications exposed to sustained high temperatures or direct sunlight where parts could soften or deform. For parts that require high-temperature resistance or chemical resistance, alternative engineering materials should be considered.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into any compatible FDM/FFF 3D printer. Typical printing settings for Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 are similar to standard PLA but may be adjusted to benefit from the improved flow: nozzle temperature near the material melting point (around 200–220 °C depending on your printer and nozzle), bed temperature 50–60 °C if a heated bed is used, and print speeds up to 300 mm/s where printer hardware and part geometry allow. Ensure proper filament drying and storage to avoid moisture-related print issues and verify first-layer adhesion before long prints.
For best results with Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 Sunny Orange, print with a stable extrusion setup, moderate cooling, and test a range of nozzle temperatures and speeds for your specific printer. Use a heated bed or adhesive surface for larger prints and store the filament in a dry environment to preserve print quality.
