Sunlu PLA+ Filament (Ivory) is a PLA-based filament for FDM 3D printers, offered in 1.75 mm diameter as PLA+ BW. It is formulated to provide improved toughness and layer adhesion compared with standard PLA while maintaining vivid, consistent color and ease of use for general prototyping, decorative models and functional parts.
The filament offers enhanced mechanical properties with higher impact resistance and reduced brittleness compared with many standard PLA materials. Its tight dimensional tolerance and uniform diameter enable stable feeding and predictable results, while careful spool winding minimizes tangles and feed interruptions. Low shrinkage and good interlayer adhesion help produce accurate, aesthetically pleasing prints with fewer common printing issues.
Sunlu PLA+ is not intended for high-temperature applications; its Vicat softening and heat deflection temperatures are around the low-50s °C, so it may deform if exposed to heat above typical room temperatures. It is also not a replacement for engineering-grade thermoplastics when extreme chemical resistance or very high thermal performance is required.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into any compatible FDM printer following the printer manufacturer’s instructions. Recommended print temperatures are 195–205 °C for typical speeds (50–100 mm/s) and 205–220 °C when printing at higher speeds (100–300 mm/s); adjust settings to suit your printer and model. Use a heated bed or adhesion aid as needed, and ensure proper cooling and retraction settings to reduce stringing and improve surface quality.
For best results with Sunlu PLA+ (Ivory), start with the manufacturer’s recommended temperature and speed ranges, verify bed adhesion method for your model, and fine-tune cooling and retraction to balance surface quality and stringing. Store the filament dry to preserve printability and avoid moisture-related defects.
