Filament Sunlu PLA+ Chocolate — 1.75 mm, PLA+ material for FDM 3D printers
Sunlu PLA+ Filament in Chocolate is a 1.75 mm PLA+ material for FDM/FFF 3D printers that balances improved toughness with easy printability. The filament is formulated to deliver stronger parts and better layer adhesion than standard PLA while keeping color intensity and surface finish suitable for both functional parts and aesthetic models.
The filament offers enhanced mechanical properties, including higher impact resistance and tensile strength, combined with low shrinkage and reliable interlayer adhesion. Precise diameter tolerance and even winding on the spool reduce feeding problems and help ensure consistent, trouble-free printing. Flexible recommended temperature and speed ranges make it compatible with a wide range of printers and print profiles.
This PLA+ is not intended for applications requiring high-temperature resistance above its heat deflection and Vicat softening range (around 53–54 °C). It is also not the best choice for parts that must withstand continuous mechanical loading at elevated temperatures or for uses that require very high elongation at break beyond the material's specified properties.
Load the 1.75 mm filament onto any compatible FDM/FFF printer and set the nozzle temperature according to the selected speed profile: 195–205 °C for standard speeds or 205–220 °C for higher speeds. Use a print bed surface suitable for PLA; a heated bed is optional but can be set near typical PLA temperatures if needed. Ensure good filament feeding by mounting the spool so it unwinds freely and use retraction and cooling settings appropriate for PLA+ to minimize stringing and improve surface finish.
For best results, print at moderate speeds with stable extrusion, enable part cooling for fine details, and store the filament in a dry environment to preserve dimensional stability and printability.
