PLA Filament Sunlu PLA Classic Mint — PLA Classic MG, mint color, for FDM 3D printers
Sunlu PLA Classic Mint filament is a PLA-grade thermoplastic spool in mint color designed for FDM 3D printers. It is intended for general-purpose printing where ease of use and dimensional stability are needed — suitable for prototypes, visual models, household items and decorative parts. The material supports a wide range of print speeds and common nozzle temperatures, making it compatible with many desktop FDM machines.
The filament offers improved mechanical strength compared with standard PLA, with a reported impact strength of 18 kJ/m² and a material density of 1.24 g/cm³, which contributes to more durable and stable parts. A matte surface finish provides a professional look on printed models. Consistent diameter and careful winding reduce feeding issues and help maintain repeatable print quality.
This PLA filament is not intended for high-temperature applications or parts that require significant flexibility or chemical resistance. For functional parts exposed to sustained heat, solvents, or heavy mechanical stress beyond moderate use, consider alternative engineering materials.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into an FDM printer according to the printer manufacturer’s instructions. Set the nozzle temperature within the 190–230 °C range and start with the recommended optimal print speed (60–150 mm/s) for a balance of detail and throughput; higher speeds are possible if your printer supports them. Use a heated bed if your printer recommends it for PLA and configure retraction/retention settings to reduce stringing. After printing, support structures are designed to be easy to remove, simplifying post-processing.
For best results with Sunlu PLA Classic Mint, start prints at mid-range nozzle temperatures and moderate speeds, calibrate extrusion and retraction, and keep filament dry. Store the spool in a sealed bag with desiccant to preserve printability.
