Sunlu PLA+ Filament (Cherry) is a 1.75 mm PLA+ thermoplastic filament for FDM 3D printers that balances visual quality and improved mechanical performance. It is formulated to deliver higher toughness and better layer adhesion than standard PLA, producing prints with deep cherry coloration and increased resistance to impact and damage. The filament is suitable for both decorative models and functional parts where durability and a neat surface finish are important.
The filament offers enhanced impact resistance—up to 8 kJ/m² in its formulation—resulting in parts that are less brittle than many standard PLA variants. Tight dimensional accuracy (±0.02 mm), low shrinkage and uniform 1.75 mm diameter ensure smooth feeding and consistent print quality. Even winding on the spool reduces the risk of tangles and interruptions during printing, while the material’s formulation reduces common printing issues such as clogging, air bubbles, warping and excessive stringing.

Load the 1.75 mm filament into any compatible FDM 3D printer and set printing temperatures according to your printer and model: typical recommendations are 195–205 °C for speeds around 50–100 mm/s, or 205–220 °C when printing faster (100–300 mm/s). Use a heated bed if available and adjust bed temperature and first layer settings to improve adhesion. Because of good interlayer adhesion and low shrinkage, standard cooling and retraction settings usually work well; fine-tune speed, temperature and cooling to match your specific printer and model geometry.
For reliable results with Sunlu PLA+ Filament (Cherry), start with 195–205 °C at 50–100 mm/s, enable moderate part cooling for fine details, and ensure the filament is fed smoothly by confirming even spool winding. Adjust settings upward for faster printing while monitoring layer adhesion and surface finish.
